Dr. Chappidi believes that good communication with his patients leads to proper diagnosis and effective treatment. The patient at the Comprehensive Headache Treatment Center, therefore, becomes an integral part of the whole treatment process.

Dr. Chappidi's treatment center utilizes a multi-faceted clinical approach including medication and biofeedback - the use of simple electronic monitoring device to translate body reactions into audio and visual signals. This technique, which is very successful in treating migraine headaches and headaches caused by muscle contractions, helps the patient to control his or her own reactions in order to help alleviate headache symptoms. The center also provides botox injections for chronic daily headaches.

Pain and rehabilitation specialists as well as physical therapists play an important role in the headache treatment process at the Treatment Center. Physical therapy is used to treat those headaches which originate in the muscles or joints of the neck.
